Exec sells Carmel 4BD for $2.075 million

Darrell and Jenny Scherbarth sold a four-bedroom, three bath in Carmel at 26327 Camino Real for $2.075 million to Mark and Rebecca Mckeen on July 31.
The Scherbarths paid $1.585 million for the property in Oct. 2003.
The 2,150 square foot home was listed as high as $2.195 million.
Mr. Scherbarth has served as Vice President and General Manager of the Access Business Unit of Extreme Networks, Inc., a post he started in Feb. 2001. He joined the company after it acquired Optranet, Inc., which he founded and where he served as President and CEO from Nov. 1999 to Jan. 2001.
Previous to that he was the Vice President of Engineering at Redback Networks and was a co-founder and Vice President of R&D of Network Peripherals Inc. He's also held senior engineering management positions at Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard.
Mr. Scherbarth holds a B.S.E.E. from San Jose State University.
